We treat Cherry Angiomas, commonly referred to as cherry or red bumps, with the green light from the Gemini™ KTP laser. The blood in the vessel absorbs the green laser light, heats up, vaporizes or coagulates and then the vessel collapses. If the vessel remains collapsed then the body will absorb it over the following days or weeks. This procedure is FDA approved for most skin types and is safe for the face, hands, neck, back, torso, legs... virtually any place on the body where Cherry Angiomas may occur.
