Birthmark or Port Wine Stain is a vascular lesion (nevus) consisting of superficial and deep dilated capillaries which produce a reddish to purplish discoloration of the skin. Birthmarks can be safely and effectively treated on most skin types with the green light from the FDA approved Gemini™ laser featuring CoolSpot™ technology.

The green laser light is absorbed by the Birthmark capillaries causing the blood to vaporize or coagulate. The vessels collapse and are absorbed by the body over the following days or weeks.
